Cambodia retreat

I have not organized any retreat so far because first I had chosen Cambodia a long time ago form a place of liberation. Second, I was looking for the ideal format and spot that would really appeal to me, really call me.

I have found it! It is a place nestled in the North East of Cambodia near Viet Nam. It is private, sophisticated and exquisite. While I was there last year I could feel that it has many secrets that I have endeavored to unveil with the group I am taking this year in November.

However, before a 7 days stop at Chhlong by the Mékong River, our first stop at the mythical Angkor city of the Temple will enable us to recharge our batteries with loads of sacred energy, it will be like discovering what Cambodia has to unveil and has to say to us come to visit.

Our meditations and morning flows will slowly lead us to the path of what yoga really is hwile we will discover an amazing cultural universe.

Then we take a break in the capital city, Phnom Penh, at the time of The Water Festival. A time when the people celebrate water as a form of life and sustainability. We will have 2 days to indulge in the ceremonials on the Mékong and into the narrow streets and secrets of the city.

So, when we reach our last stop, we will be ready to dive into quietness, to emerge as a group and as a yogic community.

My goal is to show everyone the path to transformation.

Yoga at Home

Yoga nidra

Active hypnosis

Lie down on your mat, close your eyes, take a deep breath and let the voice of your teacher guide you to the infinity, the beauty and the mystery of the unconscious mind letting you discover who your really are, what animates you, what has built you and what triggers your intentions.

After 5 mn of yoga Nidra I always feel like a warm soft silky glove wrapping around my entire body starting with the arms and going onto the center towards the feet.

An incredible experience that is designed to change your patterns, addictions, erase memories and reshape your life.

In fact, yoga Nidra puts you into a modified state of consciousness. You are not sleeping and you are not awake either. The different steps through which you go before reaching this state create like a direct pathway to your unconscious mind, it is as if you were bypassing your conscious state to directly reach unconsciousness.

What is the unconscious?

It is like an infinite library, or a hard drive where your life has been imprinted from the day you were born and even before. All the different layers of memory, the patterns that you have created good and bad, everything is stored in there, and even some events that you did not even notice yourself are stored there. Some events that you have no recollection of are stored there.

So, when doing yoga Nidra, you get the opportunity to change what has been created over time in your brain for the best.

Yoga Nidra can help you overcome your fear of flying, your fear of speaking in front of a large audience, it can help you overcome various addictions like smoking, drinking… and also it can modify some of your behaviours or the way you look at yourself like a lack of confidence, excessive anxiety, depression.

And the beauty of the practice is that all you have to do is put yourself in a receiving mode, you don’t have to think or move an inch, you just lie down and let your teacher do the work for you!

So are you ready to jump?

Therapeutic

yoga

Improve, cure, heal

Did you know that therapeutic yoga can address diseases like hypertension, thyroid problems, diabetes type II, obesity, back pain, sciatica, asthma. It can improve arthritis, immune system diseases, it can heal patients with cancer, depression, burn out and so on…

It takes breathing exercises, yoga postures done mindfully, Kria yoga, chanting, meditation, and sound healing including OM and Mantra chanting.

It also takes changing your diet, eating and drinking more healthy and organic, reorganizing your schedule, being more present for yourself, listening more to your body and bringing the idea of balance into your life.

An every day practice brings you outstanding results that you would never have dreamt of.

In fact, most of the time we rely on our doctors, our pharmacists our Western ways of treating our illnesses while ignoring that our potential is huge!

Therapeutic yoga is a very natural way of treating diseases and it is worth the try however it is too bad that people should wait until the last resort before they decide to consult a yoga therapist.

Yoga is not just a practice, it was carefully thought and built thousands of years ago in order to heal and to work on yourself.

Stirra Sukham Asanam is one of the first yoga Sutras of Patanjali and it says that the goal of yoga is to find comfort and ease in the pose and if the pose is performed properly then it heals and cures.
